On the subject of boybands, here's a little tribute to Tom Watkins and his most (in)famous creations, Bros, sort of
the Gallagher brothers of 1988. His spat with Pete Waterman and the Lewis sisters is the stuff of rock 'n' roll legend, and
the inspiration for the Spice girls (and All Saints). And personally an endless source of merriment! Interestingly,the Spice
Girls were invented by Bob Herbert (as opposed to more famous manager Simon Fuller), who previously managed Bros before Watkins.
Not many people know this, but Luke Goss once dated Bob's daughter (Amanda?) ...
Contarary to popular opinion, apart from Band Aid 2, Bros never worked with Stock Aitken Waterman, though Luke and Craig's
then (possibly current) girlfriends certainly did. Whatever you do don't watch any of their vids on Acid. It put me in psychiatric
hospital!!!!
